This Mother’s Day we want to acknowledge YOU SWEET MAMA BEAR!

To all the working mums, thank you for showing us that women can lead, hustle, provide and follow their dreams. Thanks for teaching us that we can be organized, entrepreneurial, professional and hardworking. Thanks for showing us that we have much to offer the world.

To the creative mums, thank you for mixing it up, making it fun, teaching us to be curious, spontaneous and original. Thank you for showing us beauty, wonder, art and for teaching us that our imagination is to be treasured and followed often.

To the stay at home mums, thank you for your time and care. For all the visits to parks, museums, library’s and music groups. Thank you for all the babycinos, for jumping in puddles, running through leaves and playing in sand. Thank you for listening for hours on end to our chit-chat, our crying, our singing, our stories.

To the travelling mums, thank you for the adventures and the lessons. For exposing us to new lands and new cultures. Thanks for teaching us to love the whole world. Thanks for standing in ques, for carrying suitcases, for letting us have the window seat, for stopping five times along the way, for letting us collect and take home the most useless souvenirs, for memories made and dreams come true.

To the military mums, thank you for showing us that we can be hero’s, for your sacrifice, service, loyalty and discipline. Thanks for teaching us to love our country and to cherish and defend the good in the world. Thanks for showing us that women are strong, powerful, athletic, enduring and brave.

To the canteen and school reading mums, thank you for your assistance, guidance and time. Thanks for teaching us that volunteering and community engagement is important. Thanks for immersing yourself in our world, being present and available.

To the solo mums, thank you for doing it all. Thanks for continuing to give through exhaustion and loneliness. Thanks for teaching us how to be responsible, resourceful, unselfish and steadfast.

To the foster mums, thank you for being big-hearted, for teaching us courageous love. Thanks for giving us a home, a family, a childhood full of fun memories. Thanks for placing dignity on us and giving us hope and help.

To the grandma mums, thank you for all the chocolate, money and games. Thanks for loving us like your own and being continuous in your support and encouragement. Thanks for sharing your wisdom, advice, stories and lessons.

To the mentor mums, thank you for your spiritual and emotional support. Thank you for filling the gap. Thanks for answering our questions, teaching us new things, investing in our lives and being available when we call.
