    CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Sister & Soul Earrings

    We recommend that you treat each piece with care and follow these instructions:

    • Keep your earrings dry & free from creams, cosmetics and body products.
    • Chlorine & saltwater can discolour and tarnish earrings. Avoid wearing them while showering, swimming or exercising.
    • Avoid all chemical contact.
    • Polishing your earrings will help to maintain shine and avoid tarnishing. 
    • Note: When silver and gold are exposed to air and the atmosphere, it causes a chemical reaction that creates something called Silver Sulphate. This sulphur creates the darkening referred to as tarnishing. 

    Please note that our pieces are made out of plated metals and with wear will tarnish over time.

    NOTE: There are no returns or exchanges on earrings due to health reasons.

    Care Instructions

    To keep your jewellery looking its best, follow these care tips:

    Avoid Moisture: Take off your jewellery before swimming, bathing, or any water-related activities, as moisture can speed up tarnishing.

    Keep Dry: After exposure to water or sweat, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth. Make sure it's completely dry before storing it.

    Avoid Chemicals: Keep your jewellery away from perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and household cleaning products, as these can cause tarnishing and damage delicate finishes.

    Store Properly: Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, ideally in an airtight container or zip-lock bag to minimise exposure to air and slow down tarnishing.

    For our premium earrings made of stainless steel and sterling silver, they naturally resist tarnishing and are suitable for sensitive ears. We also offer plated metal earrings, which may become dull over time. Following these care instructions will help maintain the quality and appearance of your jewellery.
